About Us

Dr. Nina Desai is a board certified medical and cosmetic dermatologist.  She received both her undergraduate degree and medical degree from Brown University, working under some of the smartest minds in medicine.  Her passion to understand skin disease and how the skin heals led her to pursue research fellowships at both Harvard University, and Cornell University where she published numerous papers and book chapters on skin cancer and skin diseases, in particular in skin of color. She then trained at St Luke’s- Roosevelt and Beth Israel Hospitals in New York City where she was able to learn first hand how to treat skin issues in a very diverse population. In her medical practice, whether she is treating acne, or skin cancer, she loves to educate her patients as to why they are experiencing this condition and how they will manage it both in office and at home.  With her aesthetic patients, she loves looking at the entire picture, combining numerous modalities including injectables, collagen stimulating devices, light/laser energy and a flawless at-home regimen to give her patients the most natural youthful look and their very best skin. 

She understands that the world of skin and beauty is continually evolving and she is committed to keeping up to date on all that is changing in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She is a member of many relevant national and international organizations including the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and Women’s Dermatologic Society.

Her philosophy is simple, to help all of her patients achieve healthy beautiful skin so they can look and feel their very best every day.

A proud graduate of Los Angeles County College at USC, Stefani has equipped herself with a solid educational foundation to complement her extensive experience as a Registered Nurse specializing in Cosmetic Dermatology. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in both her academic achievements and professional contributions to the field.

With over 15 years of dedicated experience, Stefani’s expertise has been honed through extensive training both locally and internationally, working alongside top providers in the Aesthetic industry. For the past 18 years, she has been a valuable collaborator with board-certified dermatologists and plastic surgeons, contributing to a wealth of knowledge in this dynamic field.

Renowned for delivering natural and exceptional results, her clientele spans beyond local boundaries, with individuals traveling from far and wide to benefit from her expertise. The trust and satisfaction of those she treats are a testament to her commitment to providing outcomes that enhance natural beauty. 

Before transitioning to the private sector, she dedicated a significant part of her career to working with patients at esteemed institutions, including top hospitals such as UCLA and Cedars Sinai. Her experience in these renowned medical settings has further enriched her skills and solidified her commitment to delivering high-quality patient care medically and aesthetically.  

Early in her nursing journey, in radiation oncology, she recognized the profound impact of patients' changing appearances due to oncological treatments. Motivated to make a difference, she pioneered the first chapter of "Look Good, Feel Better" at the Glendale Memorial Cancer Center, aiming to uplift and support individuals facing these challenges. This early commitment to enhancing well-being through aesthetics laid the foundation for her subsequent specialization in Aesthetics. 

Specializing in a comprehensive array of skills, her expertise encompasses an in-depth understanding of lasers, chemical peels, familiarity with all fillers and biostimulators in the US market, and proficiency with all neurotoxins available. Recognized among her peers as an advanced provider, she is distinguished by her keen eye for detail, ensuring precision and excellence in every aspect of Cosmetic Dermatology.

Proud California girl and South Bay resident for the past 25 years, she finds joy not only in staying abreast of the latest beauty trends and aesthetic studies through continuous online and in-person training but also in spending quality time with her family, friends, and beloved fur baby.
