What to Expect

Topical numbing is applied for 30 minutes prior to the treatment.  A conductive gel is placed on the skin and the light flashes over the skin. The treatment take 20-30 min and is typically done best as a series of 3-5 treatments, with maintenance treatments 2-3 times a year. Downtime is minimal with redness and peppering on the skin for a few days. Makeup can be used to minimize the appearance of dark spots. When scheduling your treatment you want to minimize sun exposure 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your treatment. You should not have a tan before your treatment.
