Halo

Over time sun exposure, active lifestyle and the wear and tear of everyday living results in wrinkles, discoloration, scars and laxity. A fractional treatment, whether ablative or non-ablative allows the epidermis to heal quickly.  Ablative fractional resurfacing is a well-established treatment that vaporizes the top layers of aged skin, with less thermal injury, with mild to moderate levels of healing and downtime. Conversely, non-ablative fractional resurfacing causes thermal injury and tissue coagulation at a milder level, leaving the top layers in tact. The HALO™ hybrid fractional laser combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths delivered to the same microscopic treatment zone to maximize clinical results and minimize downtime. HALO is safe and effective and can be used to treat wrinkles, fine lines, sun damage/pigmentation, skin resurfacing, scar revision, acne scars, signs of aging, and pigmented lesions.  HALO can treat all skin types, on the face and body.  This treatment offers great results without the downtime!

What to Expect

Topical numbing is applied to the face for 1 hour prior to the treatment.  The HALO laser beam is scanned over a treatment area to precisely delivering 2 wavelength of energy treating both superficial and deep issues.  The skin feels hot and looks like a deep sunburn. The heat dissipates quickly. Within 24 hours, the skin begins to get peppery.  As the skin heals, fresh cells grow and resurface the treated area. The result is fresh, healthier-looking skin, often with reduced wrinkles and improved tone. Over the healing phase you will be very gentle with your skin only applying what is in the post procedure healing kit.  While the skin looks plump and bright within 1 week, by the end of the first month most people will notice the lasting effect of new collagen production. It can take up to 3 months to appreciate all the affects of the treatment and the HALO should be repeated as needed to maximize results.
